Flat-Lok expanding mandrels offer high stability by using precisely ground flats on collet, draw screw and body. If slipping occurs, collet rides up on flats causing increased gripping pressure. Maintains accuracy of .0005 or better and orientation of flats on assembly does not affect concentricity.

Built in safety stop provides long lasting collet functionality and self-releasing collets pre-loaded assuring easy part removal.

Collets are ground specifically to part size, assembly specs can be altered in order to fit custom products. Standard and customizable adaptor plates available to accommodate any machine spindle mount. Actuation can be done by drawbar on machine or by standard and customizable air cylinders. Pull-back allows for proper seating against part-stop.
